Cor-Ten screen walls, planter edges and fire features that finish themselves.
Weathering steel — Cor-Ten — is alloyed so that its own corrosion becomes its protection: the outer layer oxidises into a dense, tightly-adhered patina that seals the metal beneath it and then stops. Left alone it deepens from orange to a dark red-brown over a few seasons and needs no paint and no maintenance. MSR rolls and welds it into curved screen walls, seating and planter edges and sculptural fire bowls, where the colour is the point.
